Clay Art Center at 60 – October 19, 2017
In 2017, Clay Art Center, a nationally recognized non-profit center for the advancement and practice of the ceramic arts in Port Chester, NY, is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a year long focus looking at the role of clay in the past, present, and future. Core exhibitions have explored the history of founding artists, past master artist’s series and culminates with the fall exhibit, title REINVENTED ( September 23 – November 11) which highlights the future of ceramic art and the cutting edge technologies that are pushing ceramic artists to take risks and explore new ways of creating.
