Where are you going to college? Tell us a little bit about how and why you chose the school and why you’re excited about it!

I am going to Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas. I visited SMU my junior year and as soon as I set foot on the campus I knew this was where I wanted to go. Going into the college process I knew I wanted to go to a college with a city, and Dallas is the perfect fit! I was accepted early decision to the Meadows School of the Arts and I am so excited to pursue my passion for the arts.

What’s your favorite book?

My favorite book is Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen.

How would you describe your style?

Honestly, my style is a mixture of my mom and two sister’s closets. But I do find myself wearing solid colors often, and I love a good pair of jeans!

Describe what you are wearing to graduation.

My school has a tradition of wearing long white gowns to graduation. My dress is white lace with a mermaid cut and sweetheart neckline.

What’s your favorite song to dance or work out to?

I have the SoundCloud app that is great for working out because you can listen to a variety of music and share with friends.

Are you interested in a particular area of study in college?

As of now, I hope to major in Art History and minor in either Studio Art or French.

Do you have a hobby? How do you kill time?

I love going on long walks around my neighborhood, which is especially fun when I bring my dogs!

What’s your favorite childhood memory in Greenwich?

After school, when I was little, I would go to Bruce Park with my sisters and get ice cream from the ice cream truck.

Where do you shop most on Greenwich Avenue?

I love how Greenwich Avenue has a variety of different stores. My favorites are Intermix, Great Stuff, and Calypso.

Where are you going to college? Tell us a little bit about how and why you chose the school and why you’re excited about it!

I’m going University of Richmond. I fell in love with the beautiful campus first then the more I learned about student life there the faster it rose to the top of my list of choices. They have a great performing arts department –an area that will be a big part of my life even if I don’t major in it. Plus I have family right in Richmond which is nice too.

Do you play any sports? If so, are you planning to play in college?

I don’t play sports but I dance. I have been in Dance Corps at GA for all of high school, which has been an amazing experience. Hopefully, I will be able to continue that at Richmond next year.

What’s your favorite book?

The Secret History by Donna Tartt

How would you describe your style?

It feels like I’m in my kilt 90% of the time, and the other 10% I’m in dance clothes!

Describe what you are wearing to graduation.

It’s a strapless empire waist. The bottom flows and looks kind of Grecian. Though I got some strange looks at wedding dress stores in the city because of my age, it was a lot of fun searching for a gown.

Are you interested in a particular area of study in college?

I’m interested in international affairs, and so I am looking forward to studying that in college.

Do you have a hobby? How do you kill time?

I spend a lot of time in the dance studio rehearsing and at play practices. I also like spending time with my friends and family, and walking my dog around Bruce Park. Aside from that, I enjoy tennis and squash, but I don’t play in competition. I hope to continue playing in college for fun.

What’s your favorite childhood memory in Greenwich?

Many great childhood memories of mine come from Charter Day at GA. Charter Day is GA’s birthday, so we celebrate with a school wide assembly and then a carnival afterwards. Some of my earliest memories of being a GA student are at that carnival.

Where do you shop most on Greenwich Avenue?

Brandy Melville, Intermix, Zara, and Urban Outfitters before it closed.

Do you have a favorite lunch place in this area? Favorite restaurant for dinner?

My friends’ and my go-to lunch place is Meli Melo. We have been probably a hundred times. For dinner, we usually go to Harvest or Mediterraneo.
